Platform/Wholesale Advantage

Platform service (UNE-P) provides CLEC combinations of Unbundled Network Elements (UNE). Platform Service is a combination of a UNE loop and a UNE port. CLEC's are not required to have a collocation arrangement with this product. They must, however, be certified in the state they are ordering the platform service, and have a signed contract or inter-connection agreement for both Unbundled Network Elements and Network Design Request (NDR). On or after April 1, 2006, Hawaiian Telcom will not accept orders for UNE-P. In addition, CLEC's must complete the migration of all UNE-P facilities formerly obtained from Hawaiian Telcom to alternative facilities or arrangements: e.g., through self-provisioning, or by replacement arrangements from Hawaiian Telcom, by December 31, 2006.

Resale - POTS and "designed" SPECIAL

Resale service entails a CLEC purchasing Hawaiian Telcom retail service at a discounted rate and reselling it to their end users. Hawaiian Telcom bills the CLEC for services provided, and in turn, the CLEC is responsible for billing the end user.

UNE PLATFORM SPECIALS

UNE Platform (UNE-P) Specials are an unbundled designed service consisting of a UNE port and a loop. The customer may place orders for DID, DOD or 2-way Trunks. CLEC's are not required to have a collocation arrangement with this product. On or after April 1, 2006, Hawaiian Telcom will not accept orders for UNE-P. In addition, CLEC's must complete the migration of all UNE-P facilities formerly obtained from Hawaiian Telcom to alternative facilities or arrangements: e.g., through self-provisioning, or by replacement arrangements from Hawaiian Telcom, by December 31, 2006.
